I'm an independent writer and local content creator based in Massachusetts with a passion for uplifting small businesses and nonprofits while promoting a sense of togetherness in my community. My articles center around local events, business news, and trending topics within New England, with a focus on Southeastern Massachusetts. I also love telling people's stories through interviews and profiles, highlighting the unique individuals within our community.

My background is a bit of a mosaic, but storytelling has always been the common thread. Long before I was a professional writer, I was a student at the South Shore Charter Public School, where I served as the youngest Editor-in-Chief of the school paper. Writing has truly been part of me since the beginning, from winning a local poetry award in the fourth grade to leading the Children’s Department at Barnes & Noble years later.

Whether I was creating magic as a Fairy Godmother in Training at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique during the Disney College Program or working with local families throughout my career in Early Childhood Education, I saw firsthand how much people value meaningful ways to connect with their community. In 2020, I decided to transition my lifelong passion for writing into a full-time career focused on connecting people with their community, covering everything from nonprofit news and library events to interviewing local Survivor cast members and Olympic athletes. Today, I’ve built a combined audience of over 45,000 followers across platforms, with my work reaching over 11 million views.

I began publishing on Medium in 2020, NewsBreak in 2021, and MSN in 2023, before starting my own newsletter in 2023. In October 2021, my short story ‘Overcoming the Illusion of Limits’ was published in the inspiring book Chronically Empowered. For one year from 2022 to 2023, I also served as the Content Coordinator for Duxbury Neighbors Magazine, where I was responsible for writing the monthly cover story as well as local business profiles.

By encouraging my online audience to attend community events, shop locally, and get to know their neighbors, I hope to help bring people together and connect with those around them. Creating content that makes a positive impact on the community is my top priority. That's why I started Community Connections, a free weekly newsletter aimed at helping those living in Southeastern Massachusetts to start every week feeling more connected with their local community. It was launched in February 2023 and has rapidly grown to over one thousand active subscribers. To join the Community Connections mailing list, click here.

My creative work extends beyond the written word as well. In 2025, my photography was accepted as part of the Plymouth Center for the Arts' 58th Annual Juried Art Show and was also featured in the 'Visual Inverse 2025: Words & Images in Conversation' exhibit, a collaboration with Hometown Poet Laureates.

Outside of work, I love exploring nature, traveling, and reading, especially on rainy days! If you have a story tip or if you're a local business, nonprofit, or tourism board looking to connect, please don't hesitate to reach out. I'm always excited to hear from members of my community!
